The sea trial is practiced to test several navigation elements of the yacht, among them one of the most important being the engines. For this it is mandatory to hire the official service of the engines to check their performance; pressures, rpm, speed, etc. It is recommendable taking an oil sample from to engines for laboratory analysis, the report helps to know the actual state of the engines. The duration of the sea trial is 2 to 4 hours normally.
